Sophia Bolick (Bolich / Bolch) was born on July 30, 1830 to parents

David and Sallie.

She married Noah Cline on February 10, 1857 in Catawba County, North Carolina, United States.^[1] Together they had four children before he would die from gunshot complications during the Civil War. Their children included:

1. Julius Franklin (1858–1941)
2. Rebecca Emeline (1860–1915)
3. Jefferson Davis (1861–1950)
4. Robert Lee (1863–1941)

She passed away in 1921.^[2][3]

Sophia Cline applied for a Widows Pension on June 27, 1885 due to her husband Noah being killed in action while fighting for the Confederacy during the Civil War. ^[4]
