Il est venu rejoindre ses trois oncles : Charles, François et Guillaume Boivin ; puis il fut maçon. Le 11-04-1662, confirmation à Château-Richer. Trois soeurs sont baptisées à Rouen (St-Maclou) : Marie, le 29-08-1634 ; Anne-1, le 26-09-1635, décédée jeune ; et Anne-2, le 02-03-1640. En 1664, sa mère est nommée Anne Lecoq. Une plaque commémorative a été apposée dans l'église en 1996. [6]
