Alfred B. Boerger was the son of William and Rosa Boerger.^[1]

Military Service

He registered for the WWI draft in June, 1917. ^[2]

He died as the result of gas poisoning in France during World War I, on October 14, 1918. ^[3][4] He is interred at Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Indiana. ^[5]

Inscribed on his tombstone is "Co. F, 112, Supply Train."
