Arthur C. Bodenmiller
INKSTER - Arthur C. Bodenmiller, 70, of Southgate, formerly of Monroe County, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, James and Debra Costello of Inkster, with whom he and his wife had lived for the past several months.
Friends may call after 6 tonight and from noon to 9 p.m. Friday in the Molnar Funeral Home, Southgate, where the rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday In the funeral home, and at 11 a.m. in St. Pius Catholic Church, Southgate, of which he was a member. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Newport.
The son of John and Carrie (La Pointe) Bodenmiller, he was born May 10, 1918. in Newport. He married Shirley Duvall Nov. 3. 1945. in St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport.
He had been employed as an accountant by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Monroe from 1936 until going into the Army in April, 1941 where he served until 1945.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, two daughters; two brothers; a sister, Mrs. James (Amlia) Ferguson of Newport, and six grand-children.
He was, preceded in death by three brothers, including Roman, formerly of Newport, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Johnson, formerly of Newport
