Aubrey, I'm looking at Daniel (Filar) Feller (Filar-8) and it seems that the relationship with daughter Catherine is incorrect. It looks like you originally created this profile. I don't know if you intended this profile to be Catherine Hawk's father (who appears to be Conrad Fielar, per Find-a-Grave memorial 48926230) or if I perhaps thought it should be Daniel Feller, father of Urias Feller, and added Urias as this person's son when he wasn't really. I may have made a mistake in my search for a profile for Urias' father. But it looks like we need to disconnect either Catherine or Urias. I'm not terribly familiar with how to work on WikiTree, so maybe you can help? (Email: [email address removed]

Aubrey, I am a direct descendant of Henry Biehn (Heinrich Biehn), born 10DEC1774. Do you or anyone have a lead on his father?

Thanks Aubrey. I am currently uploading my GEDCOM file. This will have quite a bit more detail on my personal profile and those of my entries in the Bock family. I appreciate your input as my family tree develops.

Hello,

Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper:

Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.

As always, I'm here to help if you have any questions!

Hi.

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Let me know.

I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Guy

Hi!

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

And I'm here to help too, just ask!

Shirley ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hi! I see you have uploaded added your DNA test information. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to great information about GEDCompare, the process of adding a GEDCOM to WikiTree, that you might find helpful.

If you have any brick walls, collaboration might help bust through. Because WikiTree has only one profile for each person, the further back you go in your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out. ANY Wiki Genealogist can edit "Open" profiles (over 200 years old = open). There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: brickwall

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

Glad you Volunteered!

You are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced- if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

For a list of Member benefits, see Community Members page.

Our Mentors are glad to answer questions, too.

Welcome! Laura, WikiGreeter

Dear Wikitree -

I would like to volunteer to carry on the research both my mother and paternal grandmother started on their geneological heritage. I would like the information I contribute to be free for everyone around the world to use. Thanks to all the developers and volunteers for making this project possible! Aubrey Backscheider
