Biography

John A. Blanton was born about 1863 in Johnson County, Kentucky. He was the son of John Jackson Blanton and Eliza Jane Collins. He was the paternal grandson of William Blanton and Esther Alsey Cantrell and maternal grandson of Otary Collins and Frances Nichols. He was the maternal great-grandson of Valentine Collins and Dicey Gibson. He passed away in 1923.
