George Blackwell is a part of US Black heritage.

George Blackwell was born about 1846 in Georgia. His mother was Rinda Blackwell. He married Susan Goudlock on Dec. 31, 1868, one of the earliest freedmen marriages in Lumpkin County, Georgia. He and Susan had at least three children by 1880:

1. Robert Blackwell
2. Dora Blackwell
3. Mary Blackwell
