Biography
Eleanor 'Ellen' Blackwell was born in 1813 in North Carolina. She married William Howard Kincaid on May 2, 1839, in Rowan, North Carolina.[1][2] She died in November 1869 in Lawrence, Arkansas, at the age of 56, and was buried there.[3]
Note regarding date of death:
Headstone date carved looks like 1873; date on FAG memorial is 1870; there is a record for "Ellena Kincaid" in Lawrence County, AR who died from "inflammation of bowels" in Nov 1869;[4] and Ellen is not present on the 1870 census with her husband/family but I think 1873 date is most likely to be correct.
