Biography
Ophelia (Black) Duncanson is a part of US Black heritage.
Ophelia Black was born about 18 Dec 1867 in Gallipolis, Gallia County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Amos Black and Emily Robbins.[1][2] She grew up in Gallipolis,[1][3] then later moved to Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio with her mother and sister Idelia where they were enumerated in the 1900 census.[4]
Ophelia married Albert Duncanson on 30 Aug 1915 in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington.[5] They lived in Seattle, King County, Washington for several decades. Their census records suggest that they didn't have any children.[6][7][8]
Ophelia died in Seattle, King County, Washington on 19 Dec 1943.[2]
