Biography
Dorothy Jean Black was born on 29 Dec. 1916 in Charlottetown, PEI, the youngest child of Charles Hibbert Black (1872-1959), who was born in Pugwash, N.S., and Jean Elizabeth Moore (1877-1954), who was born in Charlottetown. Her siblings were: Charles FREDERICK Hibbert (1907-2004), Margaret Elizabeth Frances (1912-2000) and William HAROLD (1915-1979).
She married John Cameron Silvester on 8 Sept. 1951 in Toronto, Ont. He was born in Toronto 7 Nov. 1925 to Edward CAMERON Silvester (1894-1982), who was born in Toronto, and Grace Lumsden (1891-1960), who was born in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland.
Dorothy & John had one child:

Dorothy died on 13 May 1989 and was buried with her parents, Charles & Jean Black, and her brother, Harold, who died in 1979. John died on 5 May 2018 and is buried next to her.
