Biography

Barbara Frances Black was born on 19 March 1946 at Harris Park, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of Dulcie Black (nee Lambert) and Douglas Black.^[1][2]

She was a nurse.^[1]

During the Vietnam War, from 1968 to 1969, Barbara served at Vung Tau, 1st Field Hospital RAANC, Vietnam.^[3]

Her daughter was Emma Black (1970–).^[1]

Barbara died on 3 November 1971, aged 25 years.^[1][2]
