Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
Regarding your suggestion that Anne Judge-863 was a Ticehurst widow in 1770: others in that marriage registry are listed "widow," but not she. Had there been Judges in Ticehurst they would likely have shown up in the parish registries, but they do not. --Roger Peterson
We've been in touch previously (since 2010) regarding your Our Huguenot Ancestors. Regarding Hilber, the 1880 Windsor Dane Wisconsin US Census lists both Wilbur and Hilber(t) as sons of Cornelius and Mary Crowley. Happy to be further in touch about him. Let me know your thoughts. Best, Jonathan Crowley
This week we have your last stop on the guided tour. Hopefully, you're feeling like a WikiTree pro! If not, you can always revisit the tour stops via the comment boxes on the right side of your profile.
You've covered a lot of ground the past few weeks. Today, we want to give you just a few more tools that can take you even deeper into the WikiTree forest without getting lost: How to Dig a Little Deeper.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions! Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
You may have been hard at work getting connected to family members who are already here and adding those who were missing. You probably have at least a few profiles that you manage now.
There's a fast and easy way to access those profiles using the Watchlist. So, this week we're going to look at How to Manage Your Watchlist.
If the link does not work with your email, please view the message from your personal page here
You've been here for several weeks now! We hope your profiles are coming together and you've enjoyed getting to know us a little better.
You're getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now and collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer.
Questions?? Just ask! If the above link does not work from your email, please go to your profile in the public comments and it will work from there.
Thanks, Cindy
PS-Good work so far! Have you noticed on ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try!
Will your pre-1700 focus be in a particular time period, location, or topic? Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Look at the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.
Be sure to check out the One Name Studies Project to see if anyone has started a project for one of the surnames in your family. Don't see one? Follow the instructions for starting your own!
Please let us know if you have questions! Just click my name above the comment, then ask in the comment section of my page. We want to help!
You've been here a week now, and we hope you enjoyed your first stop on your guided tour of WikiTree and were able to make good use of the things you learned.
Our next stop will give you some pointers on how to make your profiles stand out: How to Edit a Profile.
Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Remember to use location names as they where pre 1700 modern location data can be added to or in Biography.
Changing your tag to Huguenot_Migration links you to the Huguenot_Migration Project this would show you activity for that project.
If you add the names you mention as tags this would link you to others of the same name. Have a look at
One Name Studies Project see if the names have a study already.
Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Newington-98 and Hepden-66 duplicate exiting profiles Newington-28 and Hepden-8. I've proposed merges accordingly. Please can you approve them?
Regards,
Chris.

Thank you for your email.
In regards to your question about the term "Child Sister" I think I would interpret this as being his niece the child of his sister.
But the obvious anomaly is the fact that the "sister" in question died before the child was born.
I afraid it is a conundrum. In regards to asking for a wider view on the term I would suggest ask a question in the G2G forum
Sorry not to be more helpful
All the best Janet
