Biography
A son of Richard Bishop and Mary Souch, Roger was born in about 1680 in Dulverton, Somerset. In 1704, by which time he'd moved to Over Stowey, he married Joan Hurle and they had four children: Roger (1705-), Mary (1712-), William (1714-) and Eianor (1717-) although it's possibly they had more. Roger died in 1740 and was buried 6 July 1740 in Over Stowey.
