Clair was born in 1912. Clair R. Bishop, 96, Kansas City, Mo., passed away on September 1, 2007. Clair is buried at the Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Clair R. Bishop, 96, Kansas City, Mo., passed away on September 1, 2007. He was on the winning team coached by D.X. Bible from 1931 thru 1933, Clair was known as a Watch Charm guard, and we applaud his pride and devotion to the University of Nebraska. He celebrated life with dignity, respect and humor, of which all enjoyed and appreciated. He was a member of ATO fraternity and after graduating from Nebraska, he attended Georgetown University law school in Washington D.C. and played on the professional football team of the Washington Senators. After World War II and living in the Chicago area, Mr. Bishop, was CEO of Mid Continent Dairy Corp for 35 years. During that time he was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner with the Medinah Temple.
