Biography
Hannah was born on 24 March 1861 at Mackie Bridge, Western Australia, the dauhter of James Bishop and Mary Ann Coles.[1]
She married George Newman on 22 February 1878 at Beverley.[2]
The death occurred this (Friday) morning at 11 a.m. of Mrs Hannah Newman, relict of the late George Newman, who died at Beverley some months ago, The late Mrs. Newman was aged 72 years, and had been a resident of the district for the greater part, of her life. She had been ill for some days, and her demise occurred at her home in Edward Street. The funeral will take place at St. Paul's Churchyard, Edwards' Crossing, at 3.30 to-morrow (Saturday) afternoon.[3]
