Biography
Prescilla (Birks) Winder was born in Yorkshire, England.
Prescilla was born in 1856. Her parents were John Birks and Harriet Smith.[1] Pricilla was christened on 7 September 1856 at Mexborough Parish Church, Yorkshire. [2]
In 1861 she lived with her parents and siblings at West Melton, Yorkshire.[3] Where she was when the 1871 census was taken is not known, but she is not listed as being at her parents home.
Pricilla married John Hargate Winder at Rotherham Parish Church. [4] They had ten children.
Priscilla and John lived with their family at Broomhill, Wombwell, Yorkshire in 1881, 1891 and 1901 when the census were taken.[5][6][7]
On 18 October 1903 Pricilla passed away. She was 47 year old.[8] She was buried in Wombwell Cemetery on 20 October 1903. [9]
