SILOAM SPRINGS - Ira Lee Brindle, 76, of Siloam Springs died April 20, 2008, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born June 20, 1931, in West Siloam Springs, Okla., to Robert "Red" Birkes and Paulena Fay Anderson Birkes. She was retired from Webb Wheel in Siloam Springs. She was an artist and a member of the Church of Christ in Lincoln, and was active in Idiots In Action CB Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant LeRoy Brindle, in 1998. Survivors include five daughters, Ilene Pierce and husband Tim of Thebes, Ill., Donna Fondren of Selma, Ala., Linda Brindle-Toynton and husband Michael of Siloam Springs, Tina Fox and husband Melvin of Celeste, Texas, and Melissa Haritos of Holbrook, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery near Watts, Okla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Pierce, Leslie Allen, Jamie Allen, Melissa Burns, Jason Fondren, Chris Haritos, Demetri Haritos, Grant Toynton, Ashlee Toynton. Pallbearers will be Jesse Hipp, Robert Birkes, Deon Birkes, Jerred Birkes, Jesse Monreal Jr., and John Williams.
