Biography

Age Binnerts married Trijntje Laases around 1630. Children: Geertje (1631), Binnert (1640), Grietje (1650).

In 1629 Age borrowed 100 guilders from Rienk Annes from Hemelum. In 1636 he borrowed another 100 guilders from Rienk and bought a house from Inne Rienks of Grouw for 975 guilders. Then in 1637 he borrowed another 199 guilders from Doekle and Eelke Ulbes. In 1638 he and his brother Goslyk became the guardians of their sister Richtje's children. In 1639 he sold a house to Rienk Jakles and Aatje Douwes and to Doekle Binnerts and Baukje Klazes. He also rented land from Antje Douwes. In 1640 Goslyk and Age Binnerts and Ruurd Pieters were charged with fraud by Tjerk Sapes., and he was required to pay Cuniera van Teetlum 80 guilders. In 1652 he bought land called "De Burgh" from Lieuwe Joekes and Antje Sytzes for 125 guilders. In 1657 his widow Trijntje Laases received the inheritance for her children Binnert and Geertje. In 1658 they sold the house to son-in-law Sytze Sakes Wijma and daughter Geertje Ages for 1100 guilders.
