George was born in 1899. He is the son of Martin Bigham and Elizabeth Wise. He enlisted 05 Jun 1918 at Lancaster and was sent to Camp Taylor, Kentucky to be a cook for the 6th Co. 159th Depot Brigade. While there, he contracted influenza and passed away in October 1918. Burial in Grandview Cemetery,Bremen, Fairfield County, Ohio.
