My name is Karole (Bertram-1312) Carroll. I live in Wisconsin. I was born in Tucson, AZ in 1952. I am a retired Dental Hygienist. I love to travel and work on my ancestry. I am a Daughter of the American Revolution...through my maternal side. My paternal Grandfather Robert Heinrich Fitz Bertram was born in Hanover, Germany. He came to the US just before WW I. In the US he went by the name Robert Henry. He married Jenny Hartlip and they spent most of their lives in the Platteville, Wisconsin area. Grandma Jenny (Hartlip-1) father's descendents came from Germany and her mother Mary Alice (Monahan-891) descendents came from County Monaghan, Ireland.
My father is Ambrose Bertram and my mother is Evelyn Connor...they met and marrried in Boscobel, Wisconsin. I have 3 siblings. My husbands name is Jack and we had one child. We have 3 grandchildren. I can trace my ancestry in the Colonys back to the 1600's.
