Joe Bernstetter Passed Away October 6

Joseph Bernstetter, well known and highly respected farmer of North Germany township, died on Thursday morning, October 6, after having been in failing health for some weeks. Deceased, son od Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bernstetter, was born in south Dakota on January 9, 1888, and was therefore 50 years, 9 months and 4 days of age at the time of death. He came to North Germany township a number of years ago and during his long residence in this community was highly respected and was a kind and loving husband and father and an exemplary citizen. Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Hubert's Catholic church at Blue Grass and burial was made in the church cemetery at Blue Grass. Deceased is survived by his wife and four children.
