Biography
William was born on 28 Jan 1894 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, the eldest son of William Madam Bergman and Emma Witte. [1] The family migrated to Wayne County, Michigan by 1900 [2] He and his father were bakers in Lake Orion MI.
He married Lucille Barnes on 22 July 1917 in Orion, Oakland, MI [3]
They had the following children: [4] and [5]
- Arlene Gertrude b. 1921
- Doris Martha b. 1924
- Clarence "Bud" b. 1926
- Nancy b. 1929
They raised their family in Lake Orion, Oakland, MI.
Their daughter Doris Martha filed for Social Security naming her parents [6]
William died after retiring to Zepherhills, Pasco, FL on 20 Dec 1974 [7]
