Rudolph Berger Jr. was born on 11 November 1898,^[1] the son of Rudolf Hartwig (1863–1931) and Alma Berger (1864–1948). He was enumerated in their home in 1900, 1910, 1915, and 1920.^[2][3][4][5] He was also listed as a farmer in a 1917 directory.^[6]

Rudolph registered for the draft for World War I.^[7]

Rudolph (28) married Georgey Singer (25) (born on 2 May 1901; daughter of George Singer and Emma Metzger) in 1927.^[8] Their son was Rudolph Berger (1929–1987).^[9] They were enumerated together in 1930, 1940, and 1950.^[10][11][12] They were also listed together in a 1941 directory.^[13]

Rudolph registered for the draft for World War II.^[14]

Rudolph died in June 1977, aged 78. He was buried in Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, Fulton County, New York (plot: Section A-7).^{[15] [1]}
