Frank Guildford Bentley was born in 1891 in Guildford, Western Australia, Australia, son of James Levi Bentley (1859–1951) and Emily Scrivener (1870–1952)[1].
On April 27, 1915, he married Winifred Constance Clifton Rose in Boyanup[2][3].
In the First World War, Frank Guildford BENTLEY volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). He embarked at Albany, Western Australia aboard HMAT Port Darwin on 8 May 1918. He was a member of the General Service Reinforcements[4]. His occupation was blacksmith and he was 173 cm tall and weighed 75 kilograms when he enlisted in 1918[5].
Frank was mentioned on a memorial in Capel Cemetery, Capel, Capel Shire, Western Australia, Australia with a death date of 27 October 1975.[6]
