Richard Irving Bennett was born in 1923 in Washington, United States. His parents were J. M. Bennett and Myrtle Reilly. ^[1]

His mother Myrtle married John E "Jack" Meaker in 1928 in King, Washington, United States and they lived in Seattle. Richard took his stepfather's last name.^[2]

In the 1930 census, Richard I Bennett (age 6), was living with his stepfather Jack E Meaker (age 25), mother Myrtle (age 27), in Seattle, King, Washington.^[3]

Sadly, his mother's marriage didn't last and he went to live with his mother and half sister; still in Seattle. In the 1940 census, Richard R Meaker was 16 years old.^[4]

Military Service

Richard served in the US Coast Guard in WW II.

His mother Myrtle died about 1964 in Washington, United States.

Richard I Meaker passed away in 1976 in King, Washington, United States.^[5][6][7] Richard is buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn, King, Washington.^[8][9]
