Biography

Bernard was born in 1898. He was the son of James Bengough and Margaret Lauzau. He passed away in 1968

Catcher for the NY Yankees from 1923 to 1930. Became the starting catcher on June 1, 1925, the same day Lou Gehrig replaced Wally pip.
