Guillaume Faustin Bellow was born about 1836 in Wallace, St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana to Christophe and Doralize Aubert Bellow.

Faustin shows up in the 1860 Census in St. John the Baptist Parish as a 23-year-old in the same household as C Bellow, age 46, G C Bellow, age 29, Elvige Bellow, age 19, Pricilia Bellow, age 21, Thomas Bellow, age 18, and Antoine Prene, age 44. ^[1]
