Martha was born 16 November 1895. She was the daughter of Joseph Bell and Mary Ann Henry. ^[1]

On 14 June 1921 at 3rd Cookstown Presbyterian, she married Joseph Brown Mackenzie of Tullywiggan, son of WIlliam MacKenzie, farmer. Witnessed by James Boo? Marks and Agnes Bell. ^[2]
