Christina Margaret Bell was born on 14 October 1887 in McRaes Flat, Otago, New Zealand, daughter of John Wilson Bell (~1852–1927) and Mary Andrews (1859–1899).[1]

Christina (16) married Thomas Gordon (39) (born about 1864) on 18 May 1904 in New Zealand.[2] Their children were:

  1. John McDonald Gordon (1904 – 1961)
  2. Margaret Christina Gordon (1906 – 1970)
  3. Thomas Gordon (1907 – 1975)
  4. Christina Thomson Gordon (1908 – unknown)
  5. George Thomson Gordon (1910 – 1982)

  7. Elizabeth Mary Gordon (1913 – 1954)
  8. Helena Ellen Gordon (1915 – 1997)
  9. Donald Wilson Gordon (30 September 1916 – 25 September 2007)

Christina died on 26 August 1961 in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, aged 73.[3] She was buried in Andersons Bay Cemetery, Andersons Bay, Dunedin City, Otago.[4][5]
