The NYC birth index (https://www.ancestry.com/discoveryui-content/view/144005:61457) lists birth surname as Belanfonte. Wikipedia lists Bellanfanti. Father's LNAB is likely Bellanfanti, I'd assume. Regardless of father, decision on LNAB should be made here.

Birth record is what takes precedence. Wikipedia is incorrect that he was born as Bellanfanti. No records show his name with this spelling. Emma

Yes, I know, I just noted it in case I had missed anything. Regardless, if the birth record takes precedence over any other records, should not the LNAB be changed to Belanfonte? -TL

Yes. We just had a lengthy debate in USBH Discord over the spelling of his birth LNAB and his father's and the consensus was: the spelling on Harry Jr's birth record is the correct one since his father signed his own name that way on his naturalization record. Update on its way. Thanks for checking! Emma
