Howard was born about June 1883 [citation needed], per family information, and according to the birthdate on the 1900 U.S. census where he appears with his parents at age 17.[1]
He married Antoinette (Nettie) Winner, June 18, 1904 in Liberty, NY.[2] He and Nettie had 2 daughters.
Howard committed suicide on June 11, 1930 in Shavertown, Delaware County, NY. [3] Shavertown is one of four towns destroyed by the creation of the Pepacton Reservoir which was completed and filled by 1955. He is buried in the Vandermark Family cemetery.[4]
