Francis Beggs, the son of Hugh Beggs and Elizabeth Smith, was born in 1858 at Bushy Creek, Victoria, Australia. ^[1]
BIRTHS.
On the 2nd April, at Bushy Creek, Geelong, the wife of Hugh Lyons Montgomery Beggs, Esq., of a son and heir.^[2]

He married (first cousin) Elizabeth Persse Beggs on 10 October 1888 at Eurembeen, Victoria.^[3]
Marriages.
BEGGS —BEGGS. —On the 10th inst., at Eurambeen, Beaufort, by the Rev. C. F. Lowe, Frank Beggs, late of Euroa, to Elizabeth Persse, daughter of the late Francis Beggs, Esq., Eurambeen station.^[4]

Francis Beggs died on 12 September 1919 at Bushy Creek, Victoria.^[5]
