Biography
Margaret Begg, daughter of Henry Begg and Catharen Dunnet, was christened in Watten, Caithness, on 14 February 1827.[1]
In 1841 Henry ("Haidry") Begg was living in Stemster, in Bower Parish Caithness, with his wife and children Margaret, Ann and Catherine. Henry's trade was "agricultural labourer".[2]
