Biography

William de Beston^[1]

William married Isabella, the daughter of Ralph de Stoke and his first wife, Beatrice.^[1] Isabella's father Ralph, was the son of Ralph son of Roger de Stoke.^[1]

William and Isabella had children:

1. Ralph;^[1]

William died before 10 Henry IV [1408/9], because in that year Robert de Stoke, the son of Isabella's half-brother Ralph, by her father's second wife, sued Isabella formerly the wife of William de Beston and Ralph the son of William de Beston for the manor of Stoke near Cholmundslon, and the verdict was for Robert de Stoke.^[1]
