Jeremiah Beesimer was born about 1852. A birth record has not been found but he is seen on the 1855 New York State Census, age 3, with his parents.[1] He is the son of Cornelius Beesimer and Maria Vandermark.

Jeremiah married Sarah Van Wagoner sometime between the 1870 U. S. Census and the 1875 New York State Census where they are seen living with Jerry's brother, Silas. [2]

Jeremiah and Sarah had eight children together, listed above.

He passed away in 1913. [citation needed] He's buried in the Vandermark Family Cemetery, Debruce, Rockland, Sullivan County, New York. [3]

  • 1870 - age 18, Morrston, Town of Rockland, Sullivan Co., NY[6] in the home of his sister, Lavina, and brother-in-law, Edeard Dickinson (Dixon on the census). His older brother, Dubois, is also present.
  • 1875 - age 23, in the home of his parents, with his wife, Sarah, age 20, in Rockland, Sullivan Co., NY.[7]
