Borden BEEBE, son of Ira Beebe was born ^[1] 5 Sept 1767 at Waterbury, Ct., and he died 23 Jan 1831 at Ridgefield Ohio. Borden married Sybil Williams and was the father of 12 children: Roxanna, Jemima, Samuel W., Lura, Clarissa, Marcia, Armenia, Ira, Jeremiah, Richard, Almena, and Rhoda. At one time this family lived in Canandaigua, NY. ^[2][3][4]

According to the History of Lorain County, OH, "Borden Beebe, originally from Connecticut, removed from Canandaigua [NY] to Ridgeville in 1813 and located on Center Ridge" and later "moved to Chestnut ridge and bought the farm previously owned by his son-in-law, Truman Walker and spent the remainder of his life there." Said to have had 15 children so three probably died young. He married Sybil Williams, daughter of Samuel and Huldah (Warner) Williams, prior to Sep 1787. Sybil was born 2 Oct 1769 at Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut; she died after 1839. She was called Sybil Dodge when she sold land in 1839. Her father was killed in the Wyoming Massacre of 3 July 1778.
