Alice Mary EGLINTON and Albert John BECKETT were married on 13 October 1938 in North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^[2].

Albert was a merchant seaman (5th engineer officer) aboard the ship, Zealandic when he passed away on 16 January 1941 at sea (it was torpedoed and sunk by enemy action), aged 37^[3][4].
