Biography
Johan was the youngest of five children of Christoph Becher and Margareta Seifert. He was a master tailor in Karlsbad, Bohemia.
When he was 25, he married Katharina Brǔckher. They were the parents of seven children, before Katharina died in 1711 at age 39. Two years later, Johan married Maria Barbara Knodt. They are the parents of six children.
Johan died in Karlsbad at age 67.
