John Becher, born about 1541

John Becher is the son of James Becher and his wife Elizabeth Unknown

John Becherwas one of at least five siblings:

• Richard Becher, born about 1540 in England, who married Elizabeth Barber, of Stangrave, Bletchingly, Surrey after 1565, and inherited her father's estate at Stangrave, Bletchingly, Surrey in 1580. They had two children, Edmund Becher, and Richard Becher, Jr.
• John Becher, born about 1541 and who married Margaret Waters and had seven children, before passing away about 1596.
• James Becher, Jr. born about 1552-1556, and named after his father, who married Elizabeth Streatfield on December 31, 1577 according to archival documents found in a A2A document at the UK Archives. His will proved 20 May 1645 by Relict Elizabeth & daughter Anne. James Becher, Jr. has four children.
• Edward Becher, born before 1555 in England, married Agnes and had six children. Daughter Dorothy gave him grandchildren.
• Henry Becher, born 1557, and probably baptized on 23 April 1567 Shorne, Kent. No records of marriage. More research is needed.

John Becher married Margaret Waters on the 12th May 1566 at Chiddingstone, Kent and had seven children.

In 1568, he is mentioned in the will of his uncle Henry Becher of London " Richard Becher eldest Sonne of my late brother James Becher of Penshurst deceased And of John and James Becher brothers of the same Richard or of suche of theym as shalbe lyvinge."

John Becher passed away March 1596 and was buried at Penshurst, Kent on the 19th March 1596.
