Hi Peggy. Thanks for your comment. I assume you are in Canada and I in UK. Ted is a long way from me (30 degrees) and I am not planning to add another manager to Mary (Ann.). I cannot understand your need for being 'Trusted'. I believe 'Mary' is already 'open' for comment etc.
Peter, I've had a look at your Spencer family from Sturminster Newton ,you had John born in the same year as his youngest son. This also meant he was born before his older children.
I've researched and sourced the baptisms of his children and the dates of his 2 marriages. (though I am uncertain since there were a lot of John Spencers in Sturminster and one can't be sure that it was the same John that married both Jean Rose and Sarah Sock.I did not find a death for Jean.
I've made a few alterations as the children would had the wrong mothers . If there are any problems you can revert my changes.
Hi Peter - I had noticed you had 2 Stephen Kerley/Kearleys in the same family, one listed as a half-sibling (I think this was probably just an error that crept in when you added him).
I thought I would round it out to include all the details I have found as there are three Stephens rather than two:
1) baptism 29/08/1813, died aged 18 months, burial 24/01/1815
2) baptism 09/08/1815, died aged 11 months, burial 23/06/1816
3) no baptism found, but marriage to Ann Gaulton names "Samuel Kearley, Blacksmith" as father. Died aged 31. Burial 26/04/1848
Hi Peter, I noticed that you manage some of our earliest Andrewes/Andrews profiles. I would like to invite you to join the Andrews Name Study! ;-) I have a paragraph on the study that says: The Visitations of Northamptonshire made in 1564 and 1618-19 : with Northhamptonshire pedigrees from various Harleian mss begins on page 1 with Andrew of Charwelton and Andrewes of Blisworth. See the diagrams beginning on page 62 for the family charts. These families are profiled on Wikitree, but need attention. See the Andrewes search page. Further development of these profiles is a goal worth undertaking by the Andrews Study.
I am a member of the Arborist Project http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Arborists and I am always investigating potential duplicates on Wikitree, that is the reason for my question on the Kerleys. No relations. And all profiles of living people are private, but, you can still run the relationship finder....
Hi Eowyn. Thanks for your reply. I am awaiting a reply from the Hartford CT Library asking whether they can supply a Marriage Certificate for Esther Andrews/James Spencer. Do you know whether that's the best method as I am in the UK.
Hi Peter! How exciting! It sounds like you've been having a lot of super neat genealogical finds recently. Thank you for adopting some profiles of interest to you! If you come across any of mine that you want to contribute to please feel free to let me know and I will gladly add you!
