MARRIAGE NOTICE. On the 26th inst., by licence, in Trinity Church, by the Rev. C. Marryat, Wm. Beatty Turner, of Greenock, Scotland, to Jane Beamish, youngest daughter of the late Thomas Beamish, Cork.
On the 7th April 1861, Jane (25) was living with her family at 15 Southfield Square, Manningham, Yorkshire, England. Those home at the time were her husband: William (29), the manager to a wine merchant; their children: 4-year-old William; 2-year-old Henry Thomas; and 8-month-old Donald McNeil; and Ireland-born Catherine Davis (23), house servant; and Ireland-born Jane Craig (17), nursemaid.[3]
(Mar 1869). THREATENING LIFE.—William Beattie Turner, a respectable looking man, described as a broker, was charged at the Prahran Police Court, on Thursday, with threatening the life of his wife, Jane Turner. He was ordered to enter into his own recognisance in £50, and to find two sureties in £25 each to keep the peace towards her.
She passed away in 1924.
