Thomas Bayne was a Maryland colonist.

Thomas Bayne is the son of Walter Bayne and Martha (Hawkins) Bayne. Before 1746, in St John's Parish, Prince George's County, Maryland, Thomas married Elizabeth Marlow, daughter of Ralph Marlow and Anne (Middleton) Marlow.

All of the children of Thomas and Elizabeth were born in St John's Parish:

  • Richard Swann Bayne, b. 15 Feb 1746/47
  • Samuel Hawkins Bayne, b. 1748, d. Between 1781 and 1783, St. John's Parish, Prince George's County, Maryland
  • Walter Bayne, b. 2 Sep 1750
  • John Phillips Bayne, b. 7 Sep 1756,
  • Priscilla Bayne, b. 24 Nov 1759
  • Daniel Jenkins Bayne, b. 4 Jul 1762, d. Aft 1795, Prince George's County, Maryland

On the Census of 1776, we find Thomas and Elizabeth living in the household of their son, Samuel Hawkins Bayne, with his wife and one of their grandchildren. [1] see image
