I have been doing genealogy, off and on, since 1964. I have a larger tree, titled Baxter/Bethard & Kyzer/Elmore Ancestors, on Ancestry.com, with many documented/sourced direct ancestors. Member or user name is dlnab. As is common, the tree there is a work in progress; much of it is proven but some of the further back ancestors' branches are somewhat speculative -- I have been attempting to 'break down some brick walls' mostly in the 1700s or earlier.
If you have documented, sourced, or strong evidence of proof or disproof for any of them, I would love to hear from you!
I've done autosomal DNA testing at FamilyTreeDNA, AncestryDNA, and 23andMe. Also, data results from FamilyTreeDNA were uploaded to MyHeritage and to GEDmatch.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
