Beryl Catherine Bauer was born on April 25, 1926 in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, daughter of Herbert Robert Bauer (1886–1958) and Henrietta Augusta Moller (1887–1958).^[1]

Beryl (22) married Christian George Rickert (33) (born on September 7, 1915 in Bundaberg; son of Christian Rickert and Florence Gertrude Jealous) in 1949. Their son was Neville Rickert (1951–2005).

Beryl died on March 1, 1993 in Bundaberg, aged 66.^{[2] [1]}
