Biography
On 11 Jan 1808, Moses B. Batchelor was born in North Carolina, USA to Wilson Richard Batchelor and Alice Odom. Moses first married Minerva Monk circa 1838 in Hardin County, Tennessee and they had six children: John Wilson, Wiley, James DeCalvin, George Richard, Daniel Tucker, and Edward Eli Batchelor. Moses's second marriage was about 1860 to Louisa Waters Robinson; they had one child: Minerva Louisa. On 9 Apr 1883, Moses died at age 75 in Hot Spring County, Arkansas, USA. Moses was buried at Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery in Poyen, Grant County, Arkansas, USA. [1]
