When Lucinda Jane "Lucy" Barton and her twin sister Lucinda J were born on June 1, 1849, in Alabama, their father, James, was 37 and their mother, Celia, was 27.
She married Ephraim Nathaniel Cagle in 1865. They had 12 children in 32 years.
She died on July 28, 1929, in Winston County, Alabama, at the age of 80, and was buried at the Enon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lynn, Winston County, Alabama.[1]
