Born 1782 Thomaston, Maine.[1] Lois married John Lowell. Had nine children. Moved to Farmington, Maine and died there. [2]

Wellman-46 AL Wellman
Bartlett-15046 and Bartlett-10307 appear to represent the same person because: same name and locations (Farmington possibly assumed to be Connecticut rather than Maine) with compatible birth and death information. The difference would appear to be whether she was married to John or Rosamus Lowell (or both). The 1830 census reports Rosamus living with a woman born between 1800 and 1810, and Rosamus' will probated in 1836 lists no surviving wife. This suggests Rosamus was married to Abigail Stoyell (1798-1829) as reported by Find-a-Grave, rather than Lois (1782-1859). Abigail's family was from Connecticut, which might account for the confusion about the location of Farmington.
