This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.
Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.
I just noticed your tags included Australia and Italian Roots and wanted to let you know that we do have projects for both Australia and Italy. Here's a link to the project page that shows all the different projects here on WikiTree Projects
For Pre-1500 profiles you first have to gain experience in Pre-1700 profiles. You can add comments on the profile and/or G2G posts about the profile or with information about the profile before you get your Pre-1500 badge.

I hope this helps to answer your question. If you have any other questions/concerns please feel free to leave me a comment or email me and I'll see what I can do :)
When working with profiles that are pre-1700 and pre-1500 there are certain requirements that have to be met before even starting on them. I'm attaching some links here that will give you more information about how to work with these.
Here's the link for working with Pre-1700 profiles Pre-1700 Help there is a self certification quiz on this page that needs to be passed before working on these profiles. Because Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches dates of profile, avoid abbreviations, add citations & links for sources to support the data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources
Thanks for joining a project, great to see your enthusiasm. Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find links to your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Please read the goals & tasks of the project For help with tags, click editing your tags
