He married Mary Zarilda Earl on 20 October 1928[1] in Stonington, Connecticut. They had two sons.
He married for the second time to Emma Harrington on 21 July 1958[2] in Groton, Connecticut.
Arthur passed away on 9 March 1960[3] in New London, Connecticut. He was buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Connecticut.[4]
