Sarah Roadman Barr was born on 16 September 1910 at 48 Rocky Knowe, Saltcoats, Ayrshire, Scotland. She was the first child of Thomas Barr (a stableman) and Agnes Campbell Steel. [1]

In 1911, she lived with her parents at 212 Great Eastern Road, Glasgow. Their residence comprised of two rooms with one or more windows. [2]

Her siblings were:

Sarah died on 14 January 1912 from teething convulsions at 212 Great Eastern Road, Glasgow, Scotland, aged 15 months. [3]

Sarah is buried in Glasgow Necropolis with her parents.
